Refund Policy

Digital products and immediate access

Scrubbed and Wired LLC provides digital educational products, training programs, memberships, examination-preparation materials, assessments, downloadable resources, and other online content. Purchasers receive access to applicable digital content shortly after completing their purchase.

Because access to proprietary digital content is provided immediately, all purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been granted, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly provided under this policy.

Access is considered granted when the purchased content is made available through the purchaser's account or access instructions are sent to the email address provided at checkout. This applies regardless of whether the purchaser logs in, views, completes, or downloads the available content.

Please review before purchasing

We want you to make an informed and confident purchasing decision. Before completing your purchase, please review:

• The applicable program description and curriculum
• The features included with your selected plan
• The subscription term and renewal information, or the access period for a one-time purchase
• The pricing displayed at checkout
• Our three complimentary full-length IR training videos

The complimentary videos are provided so prospective purchasers can evaluate our teaching style and presentation before purchasing.

Non-refundable circumstances

Except where required by applicable law, refunds, credits, and prorated reimbursements are not provided for:

• A change of mind after purchase
• Failure to use, access, or complete the purchased content
• Scheduling conflicts or insufficient time to participate
• Personal dissatisfaction or a determination that the program is not the right fit
• Purchasing the incorrect program, membership, subscription tier, or pricing option
• Purchasing a product that is already included in, or offered at a member price with, a plan you hold
• Failure to cancel a subscription before its renewal date
• Examination performance or failure to obtain a certification or credential
• The denial or non-acceptance of continuing education credit by a third party
• Suspension or termination resulting from a violation of our Terms of Service

Fixed-term purchases

Some products, including VI Exam Prep purchased on its own or as a Core member add-on, are sold as a one-time purchase that provides access for a fixed period of time disclosed at checkout. These purchases are not subscriptions. They do not automatically renew, and no further charge is made when the access period ends.

A fixed-term purchase is final once access has been granted. Refunds, credits, prorated reimbursements, extensions, and transfers are not provided for:

• Any unused portion of a fixed access period
• Expiration of the access period at the end of its disclosed term
• Failure to use, access, or complete the product during the access period
• Loss of access to quizzes, explanations, scores, attempt history, or results following expiration
• A decision to stop using the product before the access period ends
• The unavailability of a feature or material described as planned, forthcoming, or in development

When a fixed access period ends, the product is removed from the purchaser's library and access to the associated quizzes, explanations, scores, attempt history, and results ends. Continued availability of those materials after expiration is not guaranteed, and Scrubbed and Wired LLC does not undertake to preserve, restore, or provide them after access has ended. Purchasers who wish to retain a record of their results should do so before their access period ends, where the platform permits.

Access after the end of a fixed term requires a new purchase at the price and on the terms available at that time. Results or history from a prior access period are not guaranteed to be restored.

VI Exam Prep provided to Premier members is an included benefit of the Premier subscription, not a separate fixed-term purchase. It carries no separate charge or billing cycle, and access to it ends when paid Premier access ends. No separate refund, credit, or access period applies to it.

Please refer to Section 9.9 of our Terms of Service for the full access, term, and expiration provisions applicable to VI Exam Prep.

Limited exceptions

Scrubbed and Wired LLC will review refund requests involving:

1. Duplicate or incorrect charges. If you believe you were charged more than once for the same purchase or charged an incorrect amount, contact us promptly.
2. Unresolved access or delivery problems. If a verified technical problem prevents us from providing access to the product you purchased, we will make reasonable efforts to correct the problem. If Scrubbed and Wired is unable to provide the purchased access within a reasonable period, we may provide an appropriate refund, credit, or other remedy.
3. Refunds required by law. Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
4. Exceptional circumstances. Scrubbed and Wired LLC may, at its sole discretion, provide a refund or account credit in an exceptional situation. Any discretionary accommodation does not create an obligation to provide the same or a similar accommodation in another situation.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund or credit will be approved unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Requesting a review

To request review of a duplicate charge, billing error, access problem, or exceptional circumstance, email [email protected].

Please include:

• Your full name
• The email address used at checkout
• The date and description of the purchase
• A brief explanation of the issue

We will review the available transaction, account-access, and support records before responding.

Processing approved refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be initiated within approximately 5 to 10 business days and issued to the original payment method used at checkout.

The purchaser's bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund. Scrubbed and Wired LLC does not control these processing times.

Approved refunds are issued in United States Dollars (USD). Currency-conversion rates, foreign transaction fees, and other charges imposed by a purchaser's bank, card issuer, or payment provider are outside the control of Scrubbed and Wired LLC. The amount appearing in a purchaser's local currency may differ from the amount originally converted by the purchaser's financial institution.

If a purchase was made with a coupon, promotional offer, or discounted rate, any approved refund will not exceed the actual purchase amount paid.

Membership renewals and cancellation

Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each subscription term unless canceled before the applicable renewal date. This section applies to subscription plans only. It does not apply to one-time fixed-term purchases, which do not renew and for which no renewal charge is made. See Fixed-term purchases above.

You may cancel future renewal billing through your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future billing and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid subscription term. Access will remain available through the end of that paid term unless access is suspended or terminated under our Terms of Service.

Cancellation does not retroactively cancel a completed purchase or renewal charge and does not provide a refund or prorated credit for the current paid subscription term.

Renewal payments are final and non-refundable except when:

• The payment resulted from a verified billing error
• The subscription was timely canceled but was charged in error
• A refund is required by applicable law
• Scrubbed and Wired LLC approves an exception at its sole discretion

Canceling a subscription and requesting a refund are separate actions. Canceling prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically refund an existing charge.

Promotional and price-locked subscription rates

Coupons, promotional offers, and discounted rates apply only under the specific conditions disclosed with the applicable offer.

Unless an offer expressly states otherwise in writing, a promotional or discounted rate applies only to the initial subscription term and the subscription will renew at the applicable rate disclosed for that offer.

If Scrubbed and Wired expressly promises in writing that a founding-member rate, promotional rate, or other price will remain locked while a subscription remains continuously active and in good standing, that written price-lock commitment will control for as long as its stated conditions continue to be satisfied.

If a subscription is canceled, expires, or is terminated, any former promotional, founding-member, or price-locked rate may no longer be available if the purchaser later chooses to subscribe again.

Plan upgrades and applied credits

Where a purchaser upgrades from one subscription plan to another and Scrubbed and Wired LLC applies a credit toward the first payment on the upgraded plan, that credit is applied in accordance with Section 9.9.5 of our Terms of Service.

Applied credits are not refundable, hold no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash or account balance. Where the total credits applied equal or exceed the price of the upgraded plan, the excess is not refunded, credited, or carried forward to a future term.

Where a fixed-term purchase is credited toward an upgraded subscription plan, the separate fixed-term access period is surrendered as of the upgrade date and access continues only as a benefit of the upgraded plan. Cancellation of the upgraded plan does not reinstate the surrendered fixed-term access period and does not entitle the purchaser to a refund of the credited amount.

Upgrade credits are a discretionary accommodation and may be modified or discontinued at any time as to upgrades not yet completed.

Examination preparation and continuing education

Scrubbed and Wired LLC does not guarantee any examination result, score, certification, license, credential, employment outcome, or professional advancement.

We also do not guarantee that continuing education content or credit will be approved, remain approved, or be accepted by a particular employer, licensing board, credentialing organization, professional association, or other third party.

Refunds are not provided based on:

• Examination performance
• Failure to pass an examination
• Failure to obtain a certification, license, or credential
• Changes to examination requirements or third-party standards
• The denial or non-acceptance of continuing education credit by a third party

Terms of Service violations

Except where required by applicable law, no refund or prorated credit will be provided when access is suspended, restricted, or terminated because a user violated our Terms of Service.

Violations may include, but are not limited to:

• Sharing login credentials
• Allowing multiple individuals to use a single-user account
• Copying, recording, reproducing, downloading, distributing, or republishing content without authorization
• Providing access to others without an appropriate individual, department, or organizational license
• Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity

Applicable consumer rights

This policy is not intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or waived.

Consumer rights may differ depending on the purchaser's location. Where applicable law provides a mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other remedy, Scrubbed and Wired LLC will comply with those requirements.
