1. Eligibility

Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years old and must have reached the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction of residence.

Submissions are accepted only where lawful. Participation is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

Employees, officers, owners, directors, agents, contractors, and representatives of Scrubbed and Wired, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to receive an Exchange prize unless Scrubbed and Wired expressly determines otherwise in writing.

Scrubbed and Wired may determine eligibility at any time and may request reasonable verification of identity, age, professional status, authorship, or compliance with these Rules.

2. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase of any Scrubbed and Wired product, subscription, training program, or service is necessary to submit a tip or to be considered for Exchange Ace recognition.

Purchasing a Scrubbed and Wired product or service does not increase the likelihood that a submission will be selected.

Agreeing to receive marketing communications is not necessary to submit a tip, is not a condition of eligibility, and does not increase the likelihood that a submission will be selected or that a prize will be awarded.

3. What May Be Submitted

Participants may submit an original Quick Pro Tip consisting of a short written title and description and a short video demonstrating or explaining that tip.

A written title and description and one (1) video file are required for each Submission.

Each video must be no longer than two (2) minutes and no larger than 250 MB, and must be in a file type permitted by the submission form. Videos that exceed these limits may not upload successfully or may be disqualified.

Scrubbed and Wired may change technical submission requirements at any time.

4. Submission Safety, Privacy, and Facility Requirements

A Submission must not contain or reveal:

• Patients or identifiable patient information;
• Protected health information (“PHI”);
• Patient records, labels, wristbands, monitors, screens, imaging data, medical records, schedules, or other information capable of identifying a patient;
• Confidential or proprietary hospital, employer, vendor, or third-party information;
• Material recorded or disclosed in violation of an employer’s or facility’s policies;
• Content that violates privacy, intellectual-property, confidentiality, employment, contractual, or other legal obligations;
• Unsafe, unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate material.

Participants should not record actual patients or actual patient procedures for purposes of an Exchange submission.

If any Submission is recorded inside a healthcare facility, workplace, laboratory, clinical area, or other property not owned by the participant, the participant is solely responsible for obtaining all permissions and approvals required by the facility, employer, property owner, or other applicable party before recording or submitting the content.

Scrubbed and Wired does not authorize any participant to violate facility policy, employer policy, confidentiality requirements, HIPAA obligations, intellectual-property rights, manufacturer requirements, or applicable law in order to create a Submission.

5. Your Representations and Warranties

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• You created the Submission or otherwise own and control all rights necessary to submit it and grant the rights described in these Rules.
• The Submission is original to you except for material that you are legally authorized to include.
• No employer, healthcare facility, patient, coworker, manufacturer, company, photographer, videographer, or other third party owns rights that prevent you from granting the rights described here.
• You have obtained every permission, release, consent, authorization, or approval required for the Submission.
• The Submission does not contain PHI, confidential information, trade secrets, or other information you are prohibited from disclosing.
• The Submission does not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, patent, privacy right, publicity right, contractual right, confidentiality obligation, employment obligation, or other right of another person or entity.
• The Submission is not knowingly false, misleading, dangerous, or presented as a substitute for physician direction, facility policy, manufacturer instructions, professional judgment, or applicable standards of care.
• Any contact information you provide for yourself is your own, and you are authorized to provide it and to consent to the communications you have selected.
• Any contact information you provide for another person, including a manager, educator, supervisor, or director, is that person’s business contact information, you are permitted to share it, and sharing it does not violate your employer’s policies or any confidentiality obligation you owe.

6. Ownership of Submissions — Important

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby irrevocably assign, transfer, convey, and deliver to Scrubbed and Wired, LLC all right, title, and interest that you own in and to the Submission, including all transferable copyrights and other intellectual-property rights in the Submission and all renewals, extensions, and proceeds of those rights.

To the extent any right in the Submission cannot legally be assigned, you grant Scrubbed and Wired an exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, fully paid-up, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, perform, publish, distribute, transmit, advertise, promote, edit, modify, crop, excerpt, caption, dub, translate, adapt, combine, reformat, create derivative works from, commercialize, license, sublicense, and otherwise exploit the Submission for any lawful purpose and through any media or technology now known or later developed.

Scrubbed and Wired may use the Submission in, among other things:

Scrubbed and Wired training videos and educational programs; websites and landing pages; the Scrubbed and Wired Exchange Community and other online community, forum, and member-discussion spaces; social-media posts, Reels, Shorts, and other video content; email marketing; advertising and paid advertising; presentations; promotional materials; downloadable materials; printed materials; demonstrations; future products or services; compilations of tips; and other commercial or noncommercial uses selected by Scrubbed and Wired.

Scrubbed and Wired may edit, shorten, expand, re-record, recreate, illustrate, animate, narrate, combine, adapt, or otherwise modify a Submission.

Scrubbed and Wired may also independently create its own demonstration or educational content based upon a submitted tip, idea, concept, technique, method, suggestion, workflow, or know-how.

You will not be entitled to royalties, residuals, licensing fees, usage fees, revenue sharing, commissions, profit participation, additional prizes, or any other compensation because Scrubbed and Wired uses, republishes, adapts, commercializes, or otherwise exploits your Submission.

Except for any prize expressly offered under these Rules, no additional compensation is owed to the submitter now or in the future.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights, rights of attribution, rights of integrity, or similar rights that you may have in connection with the Submission.

If any further document or confirmation is reasonably necessary to evidence or perfect the rights granted to Scrubbed and Wired under these Rules, you agree to reasonably cooperate in executing that documentation.

7. Ideas, Methods, Techniques, and Know-How

You understand that copyright law may not protect an underlying idea, method, procedure, process, technique, workflow, concept, or system.

Accordingly, independently of the copyright assignment above, you expressly authorize Scrubbed and Wired to freely use, develop, demonstrate, teach, incorporate, adapt, commercialize, or build upon any idea, concept, technique, method, workflow, procedure, know-how, suggestion, or other information communicated through your Submission, without restriction and without additional compensation.

8. Name, Image, Voice, and Publicity Permission

If your Submission includes your name, image, likeness, voice, professional title, social-media handle, biography, photograph, or other identifying information, you grant Scrubbed and Wired the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that information in connection with the Submission and the promotion, advertising, marketing, and operation of Scrubbed and Wired and the Exchange.

Scrubbed and Wired has no obligation to obtain additional approval from you before publishing, editing, republishing, or using an authorized Submission.

8.1 Your Attribution Preference

The submission form asks you to choose how you would like to be credited if your Submission is published. The available options are:

• Full name;
• First name only;
• Social-media handle;
• Full name plus social-media handle;
• Contact me before determining how I am credited; or
• No public attribution by name or social-media handle.

Your selection on the submission form constitutes your written agreement to be identified in that manner. When Scrubbed and Wired publicly credits a published Submission, including in the Exchange Community, it will use the attribution preference you selected. If you select the option to be contacted first, Scrubbed and Wired will make reasonable efforts to reach you at the email address you provided before crediting you, and if it cannot reach you within a reasonable time, it will publish the Submission without public attribution by name or social-media handle.

Along with your selected attribution, Scrubbed and Wired may also identify your professional role or credential as provided on the submission form. Scrubbed and Wired will not publicly identify your facility or employer unless you separately agree.

Scrubbed and Wired is not required to provide attribution in every use of a Submission. For example, attribution may be impractical in short excerpts, compilations, or content independently recreated by Scrubbed and Wired under Section 6 or Section 7. Where no attribution is given, Scrubbed and Wired will not credit you in a manner broader than the preference you selected.

If you provide a social-media handle, you represent that it belongs to you. You may ask Scrubbed and Wired to update your attribution preference for future uses by contacting us at the address published on our website; changes apply going forward and do not require Scrubbed and Wired to alter content already published.

9. No Obligation to Publish or Select

Submitting content does not guarantee:

• Publication;
• Selection as an Exchange Ace;
• Receipt of a prize;
• Attribution;
• A response from Scrubbed and Wired; or
• Any other benefit.

Scrubbed and Wired may accept, reject, remove, decline to publish, discontinue use of, or choose not to act upon any Submission for any reason.

Scrubbed and Wired may receive multiple submissions containing similar or identical ideas. Submission of an idea does not prevent Scrubbed and Wired from using an independently developed, previously known, or separately submitted similar idea.

9A. Exchange Community Display and Member Discussion

9A.1 Posting of Submissions

Scrubbed and Wired operates an online member community, currently hosted on the Kajabi platform (the “Exchange Community”). Scrubbed and Wired may post any Submission, or any portion, edited version, or description of a Submission, in the Exchange Community. Posting is not limited to Exchange Ace winners and may include all or some of the Submissions received during any period.

Posting a Submission in the Exchange Community does not mean the Submission has been selected as an Exchange Ace, is endorsed by Scrubbed and Wired, or has been verified as appropriate for any particular facility, device, procedure, or circumstance. Section 12 applies to all Submissions displayed in the Exchange Community.

Scrubbed and Wired is not required to post any Submission, and may decline to post, edit, or remove any Submission at any time, for any reason, as provided in Sections 9 and 15.

9A.2 Review Before Posting

Scrubbed and Wired intends to review Submissions before posting them in the Exchange Community and may edit, trim, crop, blur, mute, or otherwise modify a Submission before posting, including to remove information that may raise privacy, confidentiality, safety, or facility-policy concerns. Review by Scrubbed and Wired does not transfer to Scrubbed and Wired, or relieve you of, your own responsibility to comply with Sections 4 and 5.

9A.3 Who Can See Community Posts

The Exchange Community is available to people who join it, which may be free of charge. Scrubbed and Wired does not control who joins. Members may include IR Technologists, students, educators, managers, coworkers, and other people who work at or with your facility or employer. You should assume that anyone who joins the Exchange Community may view a posted Submission and any attribution accompanying it.

Exchange Community guidelines prohibit members from downloading, copying, recording, or redistributing posted Submissions outside the Exchange Community without permission. However, Scrubbed and Wired cannot guarantee that a member or other person will not copy, capture, or share content in violation of those guidelines.

9A.4 Attribution in the Exchange Community

Any attribution accompanying a Submission posted in the Exchange Community will follow the attribution or recognition preference you selected on the submission form, including a preference for no public attribution by name or social-media handle, as described in Section 8.1.

Even when no attribution is displayed, your face, voice, workspace, or other content within the Submission may allow viewers to identify you.

9A.5 Member Comments, Reactions, and Polls

Exchange Community members may be able to comment on, react to, reply to, and respond to polls about posted Submissions. Member comments and other member content reflect the views of those members only and do not reflect the views of, and are not endorsed by, Scrubbed and Wired. Comments may include questions, disagreement, or critical feedback.

Scrubbed and Wired may moderate, hide, edit, or remove member comments or other member content at its discretion but is not obligated to monitor or remove all member content.

9A.6 Requests to Remove a Community Post

You may ask Scrubbed and Wired to remove a Community post displaying your Submission by contacting us at the address published on our website. Scrubbed and Wired will consider these requests in good faith but is not required to grant them. Removal of a Community post does not revoke or affect the rights assigned or granted to Scrubbed and Wired under these Rules, as provided in Section 15.

10. Exchange Ace Selection

Each month, the Scrubbed and Wired team reviews eligible Submissions and votes to select up to three (3) winners. One winner is selected in each of the following categories:

• Table Ace;
• Wire Whisperer; and
• Device Dynamo.

Each winner is named that month’s Exchange Ace for their category. Scrubbed and Wired determines which category best fits each Submission, regardless of any category selected by the participant on the submission form. A participant may be selected in no more than one category in the same month.

Selection is based on skill and editorial judgment by the Scrubbed and Wired team and is not a random drawing.

Factors may include usefulness to IR Technologists, originality, clarity, professional relevance, practical applicability, safety, and overall educational value.

Scrubbed and Wired retains sole and final discretion regarding eligibility, judging, selection, and interpretation of these criteria.

Scrubbed and Wired is not required to select a winner in every category, or any winner, during any particular month if, in its judgment, no eligible Submission for that category meets its standards. Submissions not selected in the month received may, at Scrubbed and Wired’s discretion, be considered in a later month.

Decisions of Scrubbed and Wired are final to the extent permitted by law.

11. Prizes and Swag

An Exchange Ace may receive a Scrubbed and Wired promotional or swag package. Contents may vary and may include branded merchandise such as a mouse pad, badge reel, stickers, or other items selected by Scrubbed and Wired.

Prize items have no guaranteed cash equivalent. Scrubbed and Wired may substitute, modify, or discontinue prize items when reasonably necessary.

Participants are responsible for any taxes, duties, import charges, customs charges, or other costs imposed upon a prize where applicable.

International participation or selection may be limited when shipping, customs, local promotional laws, sanctions, or other legal or logistical restrictions make fulfillment impracticable or unlawful.

Scrubby collectible figurines are not automatically included in the monthly Exchange Ace prize. No participant has any right or entitlement to receive a Scrubby unless a separate written Scrubbed and Wired announcement or promotion expressly states otherwise.

12. Educational Content Disclaimer

The Exchange is intended for educational and informational purposes.

Submitted tips and any resulting Scrubbed and Wired content are not medical advice, physician instruction, facility policy, manufacturer instructions, credentialing, certification, competency verification, or a substitute for professional judgment.

Participants and viewers remain responsible for complying with physician direction, institutional policies and procedures, manufacturer instructions for use, applicable regulations, professional standards, and their own scope of practice.

Scrubbed and Wired does not guarantee that every submitted technique, tip, workflow, or suggestion will be appropriate for every facility, device, procedure, patient, or circumstance.

13. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each participant releases and holds harmless Scrubbed and Wired, LLC and its owners, members, officers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, successors, assigns, service providers, advertising partners, and promotional partners from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising from or relating to:

• Participation in the Exchange;
• Creation or submission of content;
• Scrubbed and Wired’s authorized use, editing, modification, publication, or commercialization of a Submission;
• Display of a Submission in the Exchange Community, and comments, reactions, poll responses, or other content or conduct of Exchange Community members relating to a Submission;
• Selection or non-selection of a Submission;
• Acceptance, use, misuse, loss, damage, delivery, or non-delivery of a prize;
• Communications sent to you in accordance with the consents you provided, or the contents of those communications;
• Contact made with a facility, department, manager, educator, or director based on information you provided and permission you granted; or
• Technical failures, transmission failures, unavailable websites, lost submissions, corrupted files, or third-party services.

Nothing in these Rules excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Indemnification

You agree, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Scrubbed and Wired, LLC and its owners, members, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from claims, demands, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from or related to:

• Your Submission;
• Your breach of these Rules;
• An allegation that your Submission infringes or violates another person’s rights;
• Your failure to obtain necessary permissions or releases;
• Your disclosure of PHI, confidential information, proprietary information, or trade secrets;
• Your violation of facility, employer, vendor, or institutional policies;
• Your provision of contact information that you were not authorized or permitted to provide, including the contact information of any third party; or
• Your violation of applicable law.

15. Disqualification and Removal

Scrubbed and Wired may reject or disqualify a Submission or participant if it reasonably believes that the participant:

• Violated these Rules;
• Provided false information;
• Submitted material they did not have authority to submit;
• Attempted to manipulate the selection process, including by soliciting, purchasing, or coordinating comments, reactions, poll responses, or other Exchange Community feedback, or by using multiple or fake accounts;
• Engaged in harassment, fraud, abuse, or misconduct;
• Created a safety, privacy, legal, reputational, or compliance concern; or
• Otherwise acted inconsistently with the purpose or integrity of the Exchange.

Scrubbed and Wired may remove previously published content, including content posted in the Exchange Community, whenever it determines removal is appropriate.

Removal from publication does not revoke rights that were previously granted or assigned to Scrubbed and Wired under these Rules.

16. Contact Information, Communications Consent, and Privacy

16.1 Information We Collect Through the Exchange

To administer the Exchange, we collect information you provide on the submission form. This may include your name, email address, professional credential or role, city and state, the name of the facility or department where you work, your Submission itself, and — if you choose to provide it — the business contact information of a manager, educator, supervisor, or director.

Your email address is required so that we can administer and respond to your Submission. Facility and manager information is optional.

16.2 How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to operate the Exchange, including to acknowledge and evaluate Submissions, verify eligibility and authorship, communicate about selection, arrange prize fulfillment and shipping, maintain records of the rights granted under these Rules, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We may send you transactional and administrative messages about your Submission and any prize regardless of your marketing preferences, because those messages are necessary to administer the Exchange.

We may also use your information for marketing purposes as described below, but only to the extent you have given the applicable separate consent.

16.3 Email Marketing Consent

If you affirmatively opt in on the submission form, you consent to receive commercial and marketing email from Scrubbed and Wired, LLC. These emails may include information about our training platform, memberships, exam preparation products, new content, events, partner offerings, discounts, promotions, and Exchange news.

You may withdraw this consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at the address published on our website. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect administrative messages about a Submission or prize, and does not disqualify a Submission.

Email marketing consent is optional and is not required to submit a tip, to be selected as an Exchange Ace, or to receive a prize.

16.4 Facility, Department, and Group Pricing Outreach

Scrubbed and Wired offers group, department, and facility-wide access to its training platform. Participants who wish to have their department considered for group pricing may opt in on the submission form.

If you affirmatively opt in to the group pricing option, you agree that:

• We may contact you directly about department, group, or facility pricing and about institutional access to Scrubbed and Wired products;
• You may, at your option, provide the name of your facility or department and the name, job title, and business contact information of a manager, educator, supervisor, department director, or other individual involved in purchasing or education decisions;
• We may contact that individual by email, mail, or telephone regarding group or facility pricing for Scrubbed and Wired products and services;
• You represent that you are permitted to share that individual’s business contact information, that it is business rather than personal contact information, and that sharing it does not violate your employer’s policies, any confidentiality obligation, or applicable law.

You should consider your employer’s policies before providing this information. Providing facility or manager contact information is entirely optional, is not required to submit a tip, and has no bearing on Exchange Ace selection or prize eligibility.

Individuals whose business contact information is provided to us may request that we remove their information or stop contacting them at any time by using the opt-out method included in our communications or by contacting us at the address published on our website. We will honor those requests.

16.5 Third-Party Service Providers

Information submitted through the Exchange may be collected and processed using third-party technology providers used by Scrubbed and Wired for form processing, storage, community hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, analytics, shipping, administration, or related business functions. These providers process information on our behalf and under contract.

16.6 Privacy Policy, Retention, and Your Rights

All personal information collected through the Exchange is handled in accordance with the Scrubbed and Wired Privacy Policy, available on our website, and applicable law. The Privacy Policy describes the categories of information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we retain it, and the rights that may be available to you depending on where you live, including rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your information.

We retain Exchange information for as long as needed to administer the program, evidence the rights granted under these Rules, and comply with our legal obligations.

17. Disclosure if a Contributor Receives Something of Value

If Scrubbed and Wired later uses a selected contributor in promotional or endorsement-style content and the contributor received a prize, merchandise, free access, payment, or another material benefit, Scrubbed and Wired and the contributor may be required to clearly disclose that relationship where applicable.

18. Modification, Suspension, or Termination

Scrubbed and Wired may modify, suspend, postpone, or terminate the Exchange when reasonably necessary because of technical problems, fraud, abuse, legal or regulatory concerns, safety concerns, business considerations, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Scrubbed and Wired may update these Rules prospectively by publishing revised Rules.

Rights previously assigned or granted to Scrubbed and Wired with respect to already-submitted content survive expiration, modification, suspension, or termination of the Exchange.

19. Governing Law

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, these Rules and disputes arising from the Exchange will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal action relating to the Exchange shall be brought in an appropriate state or federal court located in Florida where jurisdiction and venue are proper, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

20. Severability and No Waiver

If any portion of these Rules is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Failure by Scrubbed and Wired to enforce any provision on one occasion does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.

21. Electronic Acceptance and Signature

Submission of content requires affirmative acceptance of these Rules.

By checking the required agreement box, entering your full legal name as an electronic signature, and submitting the Exchange form, you affirmatively consent to these Rules and intend your electronic action to constitute your signature and written agreement, including the assignment and transfer of rights described above.

The optional consents described in Section 16 are given by separately checking the corresponding optional boxes on the submission form. Each optional box is unchecked by default, and checking the required agreement box for these Rules does not by itself grant any of the optional consents.

Scrubbed and Wired retains a record of the date, time, and content of the consents given at the time of submission.
